BREAKING NEWS: Businessman shot, money bag snatched

Twenty-eight- year -old Rameez Mohamed, a director of the BM Soat Auto Sales was this evening shot during a robbery.
According to information reaching the News Room, Mohamed was getting ready to leave the business place located at Croal Street, Georgetown with the day’s sale when two bandits on a motorcycle approached him.
They shot him to the left leg and took away the bag containing the cash before fleeing.
The man was immediately picked up and rushed to a health facility in the city where he is presently receiving medical treatment.
The police have since launched a manhunt for the suspects and up to press time no one was arrested.
The amount of cash taken was not disclosed.
Director of Sports Christopher Jones said that he’s happy with the execution of the Inter Guiana Games, stating that the National Sports Commission was able to complete at least 85% of what was planned for the goodwill games
