Truck driver shot by lone gunman
A 26-year-old truck driver of 61 New Road, Vreed-en-Hoop, West Coast Demerara is currently hospitalised after he was shot in the abdomen Tuesday morning.
A police report stated that Osafo Roberts was leaving the business premises of his employer at Jamakie, Buck Hall, Essequibo River at about 00:05hrs when he was confronted and shot by a male who fled the scene.
He was rushed to the Suddie Public Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
