The Milo School Football will crown new champions on Saturday and all systems are in place to produce an exciting final when Buxton Youth Foundation and Sir Leon Lessons clash at the Ministry of Education ground.

Both teams are ready and raring to go and the organisers of the Milo-sponsored event, the Petra Organisation through its Co-Director, Troy Mendonca believes that the tournament has proven to be one of the more “intriguing” in the past couple of years.

“After the quarterfinal round, I don’t think anyone could have predicted who would have won the tournament and I think that in itself shows the success of the tournament and I am sure all stakeholders will be pleased with the final on Saturday,” Mendonca stated.

Mendonca, while wishing both teams success, also revealed that the Petra Organisation is hoping to launch a school football league from September.

The League is expected to be a 12-team competition and will be in concert with the Ministry of Education.

Meanwhile, both Captains, Shamar Carrington of Sir Leon Lessons and Shamar Scott of Buxton, expressed confidence in their teams to come out successful on Saturday.
