Fire guts Hadfield Street home
Approximately eleven persons are said to be homeless after a fire completely destroyed a two-storey wooden house at 69 Hadfield Street, Georgetown.
The origin of the fire remains unknown.
According to neighbours, they heard a female screaming and upon investigating, noticed thick black smoke emanating from the building.
The firefighters managed to ensure surrounding homes were not affected.
