Edinburg man busted with cannabis
Police have arrested 47-year-old Eusi Wilson for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
A police statement noted that Wilson of Edinburg, East Bank Berbice, is slated to appear at the Cove and John Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
News Room understands that police in ‘C’ Division acted on intelligence on Wednesday and intercepted a Georgetown-bound motorcar, HC 6444 on the Cove and John Public Road, East Coast Demerara.
Ranks conducted a search and a bag containing eight taped parcels of compressed cannabis, weighing in excess of three and a half kilograms, was found. Wilson was the driver of the car at the time.
