70-year-old nabbed with fake local and foreign currency
A 70-year-old moneychanger was on Friday charged with two counts of fraud after being nabbed with fake local and foreign currency.
Dennis Harris of Cooper Street, Albouystown, Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that on September 27 at America Street he forged US$100, US$50 and GY$1000 bills.
He was released on $50,000 bail on each count and the matter was adjourned until October 26.
