Technician charged with rape
Brian Parris, a 57-year-old technician, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan Wednesday accused of raping a woman on August 24, 2018, at Alberttown, Georgetown.
He was not required to plea to the charge and was released on $100,000 bail; the matter was adjourned to April 10, 2019.
The court heard that Parris made sexual advances towards the victim but she rejected him, however, he became annoyed, forced himself on the victim and raped her.
