Essequibo woman killed in suspected robbery
The body of a businesswoman was discovered Friday at her Lot 347 Red Village Extension Scheme, Onderneeming Essequibo home.
Police said 52-year-old Nazarene Haniff was found at about 13:15hrs with injuries to the face and body while her home was ransacked.
The Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
The body is presently at the Suddie Public Hospital mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination.
No arrests have been made.
