Some 7000 in marijuana plants destroyed
Ranks of ‘E’ Division on Sunday destroyed seven acres of marijuana at 11 Miles off the Ituni Main Road Upper Demerara River.
Police Headquarters revealed that the ranks found the farm with about six to seven thousand cannabis plants ranging from two to six feet in height with an estimated weight of 485 grams.
News Room understands that a makeshift camp was seen along with a number of kitchen utensils and food items.
No one has been arrested and investigations are ongoing.
