One new COVID-19 case; 80 recoveries
After five days of no new COVID-19 case, Guyana on June 6, 2020, recorded one new positive case, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 154.
Additionally, three more persons have recovered bringing the total number of recoveries to 80; the number of deaths remains at 12. This means that there are 62 active cases in institutional isolation and 14 in institutional quarantine; three persons are in the COVID-19 ICU.
