Speaker tests positive for COVID-19
Speaker of the National Assembly Manzoor Nadir has tested positive for COVID-19, he confirmed with the News Room Tuesday night. Mr Nadir said he is showing no symptoms.
The Speaker said he was tested on Monday and his results were returned this evening.
Arrangements are being made for Mr Nadir to preside over the presentation of the 2020 National Budget on Wednesday via Zoom.
