Police says Mohamed’s not under investigation
The Guyana Police Force has declared that an article being circulated about Mohamed’s Enterprises being investigated is fake.
The photo being circulated is of a fake Kaieteur News article claiming that the company, one of the country’s leading gold dealers, is being investigated for money laundering.
It features a photo of Azrudin Mohamed of Mohamed’s Enterprise.
The fake article also features a photo of Yuri Garcia Dominguez, who has been charged in a Ponzi scheme.
Kaieteur News did not publish such an article.
