GDF says soldier who attacked cop should be held accountable

The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) condemns in the strongest terms, the actions of one of its ranks who appeared to be involved in a physical altercation with a member of the Guyana Police Force’s Traffic Department in a video being circulated on social media.
His actions are a direct contravention of the expected conduct of ranks.
All members of the GDF are subjected to the laws of Guyana and so the force stands ready to support the GPF in their investigations and expects that the soldier is held accountable for his actions.
