46 new COVID-19 cases from 276 tests

The Ministry of Health on Monday recorded 46 new COVID-19 cases from 276 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases to 6, 171.

Twenty-seven of the new cases were recorded in Region Four while Region Ten recorded eight new cases. The other new cases were recorded as follows; four new cases in Region One, one each in Regions Two and Five and five new cases in Region Six.

There are 802 active COVID-19 cases, while to date, 159 persons have died and 5, 369 have recovered

There are 602 patients in home isolation, 34 in institutional isolation and seven patients are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Infectious Diseases Hospital.
