34 of 45 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Region 10
The Ministry of Health on Tuesday recorded 45 new COVID-19 cases of which 34 were recorded in Region Ten. The other cases were recorded in Region Four with three new cases and Region Seven recorded eight new cases. Guyana has recorded 6, 216 confirmed cases since March with 160 deaths and 5, 385 recoveries. There are 741 active cases of COVID-19.
There are 635 patients in home isolation, 31 in institutional isolation and five patients are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Infectious Disease Hospital.
To date, 36, 296 tests have been done.
