14 in COVID ICU as 43 new cases recorded

Another 43 COVID-19 infections were recorded over a 24-hour period after 1,294 tests were conducted. In total, 21, 850 cases have been recorded since March last year.

The new cases were recorded in: Region Three (seven cases), Region Four (23 cases), Region Five (four cases), Region Six (seven cases) Region Seven (one case) and Region 10 (one case).

There are also 14 patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 101 people are in institutional isolation; 851 are in home isolation and one person remains in institutional quarantine.

And, in total, 20,366 people who were previously infected with COVID-19, have now recovered.
