Police were Thursday morning called to 23 Gordon Street, Kitty, Georgetown, where it was reported that armed men stormed the building.

They managed to remove from the premises millions of dollars worth of gold.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the gold is worth in excess of $300 million and is the property of a well-known gold trader.

Investigators are currently at the scene probing the incident, which was likely caught on CCTV cameras.
