Skeldon man remanded for possession of ecstasy
A 33-year-old man of Line Path A, Skeldon, Berbice was remanded to prison on Thursday for the illegal possession of 38 grams of ecstasy.
Ghanesh Sammy appeared at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate M. Mittilholizer and pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Bail was refused and he was remanded to prison until September 24; the case was transferred to the Mahaica Magistrate’s Court for report.
