Tyrese George, 16, and Marvin Ross, 56, are both nursing injuries to the head after they were involved in a fight following an argument over a pig on Sunday night at No. 51 Village, Corentyne Berbice.

Police Headquarters revealed that Tyrese’s father, Terrence and one Wayne Heyligar had a misunderstanding over a pig which led to a heated argument after which Marvin came in with a cutlass and Tyrese took it away and ran Wayne.

Wayne, however, took away the cutlass and chopped the teenager to the top of his head. Terrence, upon seeing this, picked up a piece of wood, ran towards Marvin and lashed him to the forehead.

Both Marvin and Tyrese, were picked up in a conscious state and escorted to the Skeldon Public Hospital where Tyrese was admitted and Marvin was treated and discharged.

Police said Terrence George was arrested.
