CANU seizes $5M worth in ecstacy pills; Dutch citizen among 4 arrested
Ranks of the Custom Anti Narcotics Unit (CANU) seized some 3, 097 methylenedioxy-methamphetamine (Ecstasy) pills on Wednesday.
CANU in a statement said the illegal pills were found concealed in two cornflake boxes during operations conducted in Corentyne, Berbice, and Georgetown.
The total weight of these pills was 1.262 kgs. A Dutch citizen, identified as Dwight Garconious, was arrested along with two other men and a woman.
