Kwakwani man charged with rape, granted $100,000 bail
A 33-year-old Kwakwani, Region Ten resident was charged with the offence of rape on Thursday.
Kataka Kellman appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune via zoom at the Linden Magistrate’s Court.
Police Headquarters reported that Kellman was arrested and charged for rape which occurred between May 13-14, 2021.
He was not required to plea to the indictable charge and was placed on $100,000 bail. The matter was postponed to December 28, 2021, for statements.
