$2.6M in cocaine seized by CANU, one arrested
A total of 2.330kg of cocaine with a street value of $2.6 million was seized during an operation by the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU).
The operation was conducted between Den Amstel, West Coast Demerara, and Ruby, East Bank Essequibo, on Thursday. Ian Griffith, 45, of North East La Penitence was arrested during the operation.
Investigations are ongoing.
