Linden teacher, 19, stabbed to death by boyfriend
A 19-year-old teacher from Linden, Region Ten was stabbed to death by her boyfriend on Wednesday morning at his Craig, East Bank Demerara home.
A police source told the News Room that the 21-year-old boyfriend is in police custody and has reportedly confessed to the heinous act. The News Room understands that the young woman was stabbed to her neck during an argument with her boyfriend.
The boyfriend’s brother took him to the Grove Police Station where he allegedly confessed to killing his girlfriend.
Investigators then visited the scene and found the woman’s body.
Investigations are ongoing and the News Room will provide an update in this developing story.
