52 new COVID cases; three persons in ICU

Another 52 people were infected with the novel coronavirus, taking the total number of cases recorded since March 2020 to 64,617, according to information from the Ministry of Health’s daily dashboard.

Those positive cases were recorded from 1,066 tests.

The new cases were recorded in the following regions: Region Two (one case); Region Three (nine cases); Region Four (35 cases), Region Six (five cases), Region Nine (one case) and Region Ten (one case).

Meanwhile, there are now three patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 24 patients are in institutional isolation and 624 patients are in home isolation.

To date, 62, 673 people have recovered and there have been a total of 1,233 deaths.
