Another eight people infected with COVID; two in ICU
Another eight people were infected with the disease COVID-19 after another 124 tests were done, according to the Ministry of Health’s daily COVID-19 dashboard.
With these new infections, the overall number of cases increased to 70, 974.
The new cases were recorded in Region Four (five cases), Region Six (two cases) and Region Nine (one case).
There are two patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, five patients in institutional isolation and 280 are in home isolation.
To date, 69,409 people have recovered and 1,278 have died.
