Eight new COVID cases, three in ICU

A total of eight people were infected with the COVID-19 disease after another 115 tests were done, the Ministry of Health’s daily COVID-19 dashboard reported on Monday.

With these new infections, the overall number of cases increased to 70, 982.

The new cases were recorded in Region Three (one case), Region Four (one case) and Region Six (six cases).

There are three patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, four patients in institutional isolation and 243 are in home isolation.

To date, 69,409 people have recovered and 1,278 have died.
