Taxi driver stabbed to death; suspect arrested
A taxi driver identified as ‘Baloo’ was stabbed to death on Wednesday morning at Mocha, East Bank Demerara. The News Room understands that the dead man and the suspect were involved in an argument.
“The suspect is in police custody and assisting with the investigation and investigators are on the scene,” Regional Commander (ag) Mahendra Singh told the News Room.
The incident occurred a stone’s throw away from the Providence Police Station.
