No bail for Plaisance man charged with possession of gun, ammo
A security guard from Plaisance, East Coast Demerara was Friday charged with possession of a gun and matching ammunition being the holder of a licence.
He was remanded to prison after denying the charges.
Meckiel Sancho, 29, was arrested by police ranks on March 09 after he was caught with the firearm and ammunition during investigations into a report of unlawful wounding.
Then on Friday, he was hauled before Magistrate Alisha George at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court where he was charged.
He denied the two charges and was remanded until April 25.
