Foreign Secretary discusses cooperation with Qatar’s Foreign Minister
Foreign Secretary, Robert Persaud met with the Qatar Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi on Tuesday when bilateral cooperation relations between Qatar and Guyana were discussed.
According to a statement by the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the engagement was held on the sidelines of the third edition of the Qatar Economic Forum. The Guyana Ambassador to Qatar Safraaz Shadood was also present.
“During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries,” the statement noted.
Amid the engagement, the State of Qatar and its people also expressed condolences on the loss of 19 persons who died in the Madhia Secondary School dormitory fire.
