Ganja worth $67M found near Berbice koker
The Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) on Monday found 223 kilogrammes (or 491.6 pounds) of cannabis in some bushes near a koker at Number 65 Village, Corentyne, Region Six.
The Unit, in a release, said eight bulky bags containing parcels of the cannabis were found. These are worth about $67 million.
Two persons were taken into custody pending investigations. Investigations are ongoing.
