Missing teen drowned at Bartica beach- Post Mortem confirms
The missing 13-year-old boy who was found floating at a beach at Bartica, Region Seven last week died as a result of drowning, Region Seven Police Commander Dion Moore said on Tuesday.
Daniel Cameron, a resident of Grove, East Bank Demerara, was sent to Region Seven to visit his grandmother. He subsequently fell ill and was taken to the Bartica Regional Hospital by his uncle on July 4.
However, he went missing from hospital. His body was found the next day when police went on a search.
According to his mother, Liloutie Cameron, it was the boy’s first trip to the area.
