Construction worker charged with murder of friend
Thirty-year-old Andrew Seegobin, a construction worker, appeared at the Reliance Magistrate’s Court on Friday, charged with the murder of his friend, 29-year-old Ramanand Mingo.
Seegobin of Clifton Village, Corentyne, Berbice, was not required to plea to the charge and was remanded to prison until December 11, 2023. He was represented by attorney Mursaline Bacchus.
Mingo was stabbed to death on November 19 at John’s Settlement, Corentyne, Berbice, during an argument with Seegobin.
The accused was arrested by the Police after fleeing the scene.
