Henrietta man, 32, charged for possession of illegal firearm
Cleon Alphonso, a 23-year-old resident of Henrietta, Essequibo Coast was on Monday remanded to prison after he was charged with possession of a firearm.
Alphonso appeared before Magistrate Tamieka Clarke at the Charity Magistrate’s Court where the charge was read to him.
He initially admitted to the offence; however, Police Headquarters said due to his medical condition, a not-guilty plea was entered.
Alphonso, who was arrested on April 04 at Anna Regina Public Road, Essequibo Coast was remanded to prison.
The case was adjourned to April 30 for a report on the medical evaluation of Alphonso
