NAMILCO and Food for Poor give support to Essequibo Cricket Board
The National Milling Company (NAMILCO) and Food For The Poor Guyana Inc. have thrown their support behind the Essequibo Cricket Board’s programmes.
NAMILCO has sponsored a six-team, 50-over Under-17 tournament, which commenced May 11 and is expected to last four weeks.
East Bank Essequibo, South/Bartica, Combined North, Wakenaam, Leguan and Pomeroon are competing in the tournament.
Food For The Poor also supported the Board’s drive to refurbish the hostel by donating supplies.
A senior ECB representative expressed thanks for the support and welcomed other corporate entities to do the same, as they aim to drive the development of cricket in Essequibo.
