Unbeaten Slingerz FC crowned Elite League champions 2025
Watched by another impressive crowd at the National Training Centre at Providence, the 2025 Elite League concluded on Saturday night (October 25) with the unbeaten Slingerz Football Club officially crowned champions.
In the much-touted clash to close off the season, Slingerz FC drew 0-0 with arch-rivals Guyana Defence Force, but the outcome had little bearing on the top podium spot as Slingerz had already secured the title with an unassailable lead with two of their games remaining.

It was a match of academic interest for the West Demerara-based club, but they fought hard to maintain their unbeaten record, which read 16 wins, two drawn encounters and no defeats.
Earlier in the night, Police defeated Den Amstel 4-1 to finish second in the League.
