Breaking News: Fire completely guts two storied wooden building at No 69 Village

A two storey wooden building was minutes ago completely burnt to the ground No. 69 Village, Corentyne, Berbice.
Firefighters are currently on the scene of the fire trying to tame the blaze from destroying other houses close in proximity to the burning building.
According to one resident, “I was in my hammock upstairs and we were all smelling the burning scent and heard noises and rushed out”.
News Room understands that no one was injured, however, the owners of the house could not be located for a comment at the time.

The Guyana Cricket Board on Wednesday afternoon unveiled the second annual Inter-Secondary Schools cricket competition, geared at working as a feeder to the national system.
