3 years jail for setting house on fire
Fifty-seven-year-old Sherman Joseph of Koberimo Hill, North West District, appeared before Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Mabaruma Magistrate’s Court where he was charged with setting fire to a house.
Police Headquarters in a statement noted that he pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to three years imprisonment.
According to the Police report, the incident occurred on June 9, 2023, at Koberimo Hill, North West District, Region One. The house belonged to Annette Joseph.
