Man arrested for rape of girl, 5
Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with the rape of a five-year-old girl.
Police Headquarters in a brief statement revealed that the alleged incident occurred on June 19, 2023 in Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni).
“The victim reported to relatives who reported to the police on June 20, 2023 and the suspect was arrested after admitting to the act. Charges are pending,” the Police release concluded.
